I am a California  attorney who has been a United States Patent Office registered patent attorney for almost 18 years.  I have an undergraduate degree in chemistry and I'm registered as a clinical chemist with the American Society of Clinical Chemistry.

In addition I have almost 30 years of  experience in various laboratory environments.  I've worked in university research laboratories, hospital clinical labs, a pharmaceutical R&D startup, an Orange County boutique IP law firm, a Fortune 50 pharmaceutical company and a developing drug delivery company.

Inventor’s Assistance Center New Extended Hours

Effective Monday, August 17, 2015, the Inventors Assistance Center (IAC) will extend its business hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM (ET), to Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 8:00 PM (ET). 

This extension will provide enhanced support to our customers across the country, particularly those on the west coast and near the four USPTO satellite offices. With the opening of the Silicon Valley Satellite Office in San Jose, CA on October 15, 2015, the extended hours will allow the IAC to further support our Enhanced Patent Quality Initiative pillar of providing excellent customer service.
